Liquity is a decentralized borrowing protocol that allows users to draw 0% interest loans against Ether used as collateral. These loans are paid out in LUSD and require a minimum collateral ratio of 110%. The loans are secured not only by the collateral but also by a Stability Pool containing LUSD and by fellow borrowers who collectively act as guarantors of last resort. The Liquity protocol is characterized by being non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free. Additionally, LQTY is a token that captures the fee revenue generated by the Liquity Protocol through a staking mechanism.
