- Transaction Fees: As a spam prevention mechanism, ARCH are used to pay transaction fees on the Archway network. The fees are proportional to the amount of computation required by the transaction, similar to Ethereum’s concept of “gas”.
- Developer Revenue: Application developers earn a share of the protocol's revenue, which is generated from inflation, transaction fees, and smart contract premiums. This revenue is distributed to developers in the form of ARCH tokens.
